Free Sarcasm

As 2015 is coming to a close I wanted to offer up a good deal on some of my books. I’m starting with DEATH BY SARCASM, the first Mary Cooper Mystery.

Which is now FREE.

Mary Cooper is a private investigator in Los Angeles with a penchant for solving crimes and extreme sarcasm. In DEATH BY SARCASM, Mary’s uncle, a stand-up comedian, is brutally murdered. When Mary begins to investigate, she becomes the target of a sadistic killer who is bent on executing a bloody rampage.

DEATH BY SARCASM is the first book in the Mary Cooper Mystery series. Other books include (in order) MURDER WITH SARCASTIC INTENT and GROSS SARCASTIC HOMICIDE.

Grab a copy, read it, leave a review!

Stay tuned, I’ve got some big news to announce in a few weeks.

Free Books

I’m not sure how many of my readers have purchased the Amazon Kindle subscription service called Kindle Unlimited (KU for short), but if you have, I thought you should take advantage of some of my books.

Most, but not all, of my novels are in Kindle Unlimited. Which means that you can read them for free if you have KU.

There has been quite a bit of discussion about the service, which is similar to some other subscription plans for books.

Do you have KU? Do you like it?

Let me know what you think! In the meantime, check out these books which are my most popular among KU readers:

What I Fear Most (Interview)

Here are the highlights from an interview I did awhile back with Eden Baylee.  She asked the questions, I answered them as sincerely as possible:

EDEN:  What turns you on creatively?

DAN:  Caffeine, and reading a book I wish I’d written.

Which words or phrases do you most overuse?

‘Just Google it.’

What quality do you most admire in a woman?

An appreciation for vengeance.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?

My vertical leap.

What is your greatest fear?

What profession other than your own would you like to attempt?

If you could choose what to come back as, what would it be?

Bigfoot, just to know that I actually exist.

What do you consider your greatest achievement?

Avoiding incarceration.

What is the trait you most deplore in others?

A flagrant rejection of common thong etiquette.

What is one thing you want to do before you die?

Get drunk with Keith Richards.

What is your present state of mind?

What are some of your favorite curse words?

It’s not a curse, but I’ve become quite fond of the word ‘trousers.’

What is your motto?

‘Just Google it.’

The Recruiter – 99 cents

Spring is almost here.  I know where some of you live, but I can tell you that for me this has felt like a LONG winter.  How are all of you handling the cold and snow?

I’ve been holed up in my office for the last couple of months.  I’ve decided to drop my pen name, Dani Amore, and go with my real name, Dan Ames.  And I just released Episode Three of my serial ROOM 729.

ROOM729CoverEP3AMESA couple folks have asked how many episodes there will be and I can confidently tell you there will be no more than six.  If you don’t have Kindle Unlimited (the series was kind of designed with that in mind) and don’t want to spend 99 cents a shot, I will bundle them all together when I’m done and sell it as a novel.

Speaking of KU, most of my books are now available on other platforms like Nook, Kobo and Apple’s iBooks.

TheRecruiterCoverFINALAMESI also wanted to mention that I’ve dropped the price on THE RECRUITER to 99 cents.  If you haven’t read it, grab it.  If you’ve read it, please feel free to share the sale price on social media.

Also, my second Wallace Mack thriller THE MURDER STORE could use some reviews.  If you want a signed copy of one of my books, just leave a review and send me a note.  This offer is good only to my newsletter subscribers.  You guys rock, and thank you for supporting my writing. I couldn’t do it without you!

Stay warm!
